Ephesians 3:20 – 21
Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.

REFLECTION

God created us with a purpose and He intends us to reach our destiny and fulfill His purpose. The key thing to know is He expects our cooperation. To reach our greatness we must play by the rules of the one who created us and put that purpose in us.

The above scripture says that our God is able to do exceed and to surpass both our prayer and our imagination. The catch is here: “according to the power that works in us”. The limitation is not God, we are the limitation. The power at work in us depend on our faith in God, how much we have released ourselves. What have you imagined God can do? His purpose is to exceed that. I normally here people say, imagine God answered beyond my expectations! I didn’t foresee it that way!

Let your prayers, expectations and imaginations not limit you. If the multiplication factor of our God is 1000, what is your working figure? Give God a figure that depicts His greatness and His mighty ability. Let’s us stop underutilizing the grace. This dispensation is what the angels and our forefathers longed to have and could not lay hold of it.

The bible in Isaiah 60:22 The least of you will become a thousand, the smallest a mighty nation. I am the LORD; in its time I will do this swiftly.

God predestined us before calling us into His kingdom. We cannot embrace a grasshopper mentality and expect to reach our destiny. A mighty God cannot pre-outline a small destiny for His children. It’s neither necessary nor possible. If we were coming to a small ending why would He need time to outline it before we were formed in our mother’s womb? Let’s align to His will and cooperate to unleash the whole plan and purpose for our lives. God put everything we need inside of us. Release your faith and receive the unimaginable. He who called you is well able.

We can never reach our destiny on a hungry stomach. We must grow materially to do our assignment. The bible says, Jesus became poor that we may become rich. Refuse poverty and any sign of lack and want in your life. The price was paid on the cross, appropriate it into your life by speaking what the scriptures says about you. Accept Jesus Christ and what He did on the cross for your life and pray in line with the scriptures.

In our daily lives we normally limit what we are putting in the cart because we know the cashier is waiting for us at the end of our shopping. I have good news for you, in heaven God scrapped off the cashier seat and replaced it with a clerk whose work is rubber stamps paid on every invoice directed to Him through Jesus Christ by His children. Shop! Shop! Without limit.

The measure of faith you need for this shopping is the size of a mustard seed (can you imagine?). The mustard is the smallest of all the seeds. Stop limiting our God. He is not afraid of the bill; let’s stop fearing to burden Him. Release yourself to His abundance.

Do you know why God is answering in this big way? For his glory. The later part of our scripture reads: “to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.”

He has chosen it to be through Jesus Christ. Let’s pray and ask through our Lord Jesus Christ.

PRAYER

Oh Lord God, maker of the heaven and the earth, I come before your throne of mercy asking for your forgiveness. Cleanse my heart from unbelief and weak spirit. I want to see things as you see them. You have promised to do exceedingly abundantly above all that I can ask or think, please help me to thing and ask for great things. Forgive my limited thinking and help me to realize the unlimited Father you are to me. I pray for a greater understanding of you and your power. This I pray in Jesus name.
